Soapbox Racers!

Another fun filled episode where I created all the hero assets and props. This was a very asset heavy episode where 2 of the 5 racers required extra attention to function and design to support the required story elements. One of them had to be parted out so that it could be assembled like a big model kit, then fly apart as a rocket flew out of it.
All assets glided through every department in the pipeline with no trouble at all.

If you looked through the Christmas Special, I re purposed the car as a toy for Santa's Sack.
Starting platform
There was no design for this and was completely overlooked. It only existed in the boards as a handle and a piece of wood sticking up out of the road. So I just made it up.
I also crated the bridge and Tugboat from earlier seasons.
